I support the right of individual autonomy and self-determination and listen to the scientific community on what constitutes self-sustaining life. Women will have abortions regardless of whether they are legal or not, so much like Ronald Regan did while Governor of California, we must make abortion accessible. Additionally, I support making contraceptives more affordable and accessible to help decrease the number of unwanted pregnancies.

The wealth inequality in America has grown. Compared to overall economic productivity, most Americans' wages have stagnated, and benefits have been significantly reduced. We must also change our cultural mindset, which directly or indirectly impacts those decisions.

When larger-scale groceries do not see it as economically viable to be in lower-income neighborhoods, they do not put stores leading to citizens who are forced to either find adequate transportation to the grocery store or succumb to less nutritionally rich food available in convenient stores and fast food establishments.

Reactionary policies will not have the most significant effect compared to proactive policies that increase the accessibility to mental health services and investment in economically challenged areas. For too long, these resources have not been available everywhere, and if they are, they are underfunded. We must be proactive in our efforts if we want to be effective.

If we want to deter illegal immigration to the United States, we must take proactive approaches. Since the largest influx of illegal immigration comes from countries experiencing the effects of drug wars, America can create legislation that offers Americans substance rehabilitation programs. The American consumption of illicit narcotics fuels the drug wars. The two primary policies I support are substance abuse programs to decrease meth and opioid use, and I support the legalization of recreational marijuana. By taking away the economic factor from the gangs, we stop them from creating humanitarian crises that fuel illegal immigration.

When those options fail, the United States must do what is necessary to protect our people.

We must re-envision federal funding and shift the focus of military contractors to building public transportation vehicles and green energy products. 2. Affordable and accessible healthcare. The pandemic confirmed the healthcare gap. We must address the healthcare insecurities plaguing rural America. I will advocate for the expansion of Medicare and Medicaid. 3. Criminal justice reform focused on true rehabilitation, transitional support, and proactive policies that deter crime before it happens. We must correct a system that is a drain on taxpayer money and the souls of communities.
